Tel Aviv 100

3rd April 2009 By Sten No Comment

April 2009 marks 100th anniversary of Israel’s second largest city Tel Aviv. The city that is sometimes referred to as Little New York, is Israel’s economic, cultural and academic capital and in my opinion one of the most beautiful cities I’ve been to.

Tel Aviv is mostly secular city, although there are many religious centres in Tel Aviv. But the secularity is probably most seen on a Friday night when despite of Shabbat, the city comes to life as a nightlife hub. There are hundreds of lovely pubs and cafes in Tel Aviv where the people of the metropolitan area enjoy themselves after a week of hard work.

Here are some photos from my trips to Tel Aviv.
