In 2008, a Latvian film director Edvins Snore made a documentary called “The Soviet Story”. It’s a very important film, because for the first time it tells clearly to the viewers what historians and reasonable people have known all the time, but what some people, especially communists, refuse to believe: Soviet Union and Nazi Germany were allies before the latter attacked the communist empire.

It also tells about the communist terror against all the people in Russia and its occupied territories, and it also points out that the whole philosophy of Marxism is evil and hateful.

It’s a very important film and a must-see for everyone who is interested in the truth. But unfortunately there are also people who would do anything to hide the truth. And, unfortunately not only in Russia, where re-writing history is very common, but also some communist low-lifes in, for example, Finland.

Unfortunately, I can’t find a story in English about the matter, so I’ll tell you what I read from Estonian media. Some “professor” named Johan Bäckman complained to the police that this film disseminates hatred between nations. In the mind of this Russian provocateur, who is famous for all sorts of idiotic, false and anti-Estonian statements, the film should be outlawed in Finland. Now the police is investigating and if they also find it disseminates hatred, the distributors of this film might end up in jail for five years.

Finland has always been very friendly to Soviet Union and its successor, Russian Federation. So it might also happen that Finlandization is so stuck also in the police force that they will find the film illegal. Which means that people who want the truth to be heard are in danger to be jailed.

Of course, there’s nothing new about jailing people who want to speak the truth – it has happened everywhere. But Finland at least wants to be seemed as a normal democratic country. See, they even let idiots like Bäckman to use their mouths. They must have freedom of speech.

I, on the other hand, provide you with a link where you can download the film. It’s a torrent link, but I hope that Mr Snore won’t be angry at me, because I’m sure he wants his message to reach as wide audiences as possible. Because there are still people who are under the false impression that Soviet Union was good. It wasn’t. It was as evil as Nazi Germany, only it was let to last a lot longer. Watch the film.
