Too expensive, you think? Nooo, not according to Estonian-Welsh MP Lembit Öpik:
A Liberal Democrat MP tried to buy a £2,499 state-of-the-art television with his taxpayer-funded expenses, the Mail can reveal.
Lembit Opik, who went out with Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia, submitted a receipt for the flat-screen TV to the Commons authorities in 2005 but his claim was rejected as ‘too expensive’.
