Prime Minister Gordon Brown announced an inquiry into the Iraq war, but revealed that it will be heard in secret and will not report until after the next election, which can be as late as 3rd June, next year.
Naturally this secrecy provoked anger and the move was branded yet another whitewash, the Daily Mail reports.

A 33-year-old Fata Lemes, a Muslim from Bosnia, and a cocktail waitress in London, sued her employer. The reason – “sexual harassment”. Particularily, she refused to wear an “indecent” dress for work, the Daily Mail reports.
The woman told a tribunal that she was “not used to wearing sexually attractive clothes”. The bright red dress she was made to wear, seemingly made her feel she “might as well be naked”.

Yemenite terrorists brutally murdered nine foreigners they kidnapped three days ago, the bodies of the victims, including three children, were found in the mountains of northern Yemen.
One of the victims was a British man. His South Korean wife, three German children and their father were also brutally murdered, the Times reports.
Just a few hours earlier, the bodies of three German women, who were among the same group, were found by shepherds.

Tens of thousands of Iranians came to the streets today to protest the official outcome of last Friday’s presidential election, which they say was rigged.

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered an investigation into claims of fraud in last week’s presidential election, Jerusalem Post reports.
According to the newspaper, Khamenei ordered the Guardian Council to examine the allegations by pro-reform candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi, who claims widespread vote rigging in Friday’s election. The government declared President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the winner in a landslide victory.

70% of Britons say they did not tihnk the amount of taxes they paid was reflected in the services they received, according to Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Only 15% said they would be prepared to pay more money to get better services, Ananova reports.

Dutch freedom fighter, member of parliament and leader of the Dutch Freedom Party, Geert Wilders said in an exclusive interview to the Jerusalem Post that European Union is “one-sided and always against Israel”, adding that “nothing will happen” if Israel “depends on the Europeans” to stop Iran’s genocidal threats against Israel.

If someone tells you they ‘koogled’ something, they might not have made a spelling mistake – there’s a new search engine now, called “Koogle”, and according to the site manager, it’s a kosher search engine for Orthodox Jews.

38-year-old Jacqui Fleming became Britain’s and Europe’s first swine flu victim who has died of the disease. Health officials said, however, that she had a pre-existing health condition before contracting the virus.
Fleming, who had recently given birth prematurely, died at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, Scotland, according to the Daily Mail. Her child, who is believed to have contracted the flue, is in critical condition.
