It was indeed a shock yesterday to learn that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has announced her resignation. No reason for the resignation, 18 months before it’s due, was given, and the only thing former running mate of John McCain said was that she was free to pursue “a higher calling”.
Palin posted this message on her Facebook page, and her spokesman confirmed the message was authentic.
She also said that she was “now looking ahead and how …

The infamous low cost airline Ryanair who are considering charging people for using the loo and thinking of having people carry their own luggage to the planes, are now gone absolutely and totally mad – they now plan to make some passengers stand during flights.
According to the Telegraph, the airline would charge passengers less on “bar stools” with seat belts around their waists.
