“We have failed to form a formal group. It’s disappointing but not surprising,” BNP leader Nick Griffin said on Tuesday.
Mr Griffin, along with his colleague Andrew Brons, had been in talks with Hungary’s far-right Jobbik …

US President Barack Obama told Russia’s leaders they must respect the sovereignty of their neighbours Georgia and Ukraine, the Telegraph reports.
Obama struck a conciliatory tone for much of his wide-ranging and televised speech to students at the New Economic School, but he pointedly mentioned Georgia and Ukraine by name.
“State sovereignty must be a cornerstone of international order,” he said. “Just as all states should have the right to choose their leaders, states must have the …

After leaving Pembroke we started hitting north, but along the coastside of Pembrokeshire.

Once again an organization is reporting that “worst of the recession is over” – and I’ve already lost track how many times this has been said during past six months, while things have constantly gone only worse.
Now it’s the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) that is saying that, although they concede that talk of recovery is premature, the BBC says.
BCC’s report, based on a survey of 5,600 companies, found there had been “welcome progress” in …

New best mates have emerged – US President Barack Obama praised Russian Prime Minister and de facto leader Vladimir Putin for his “extraordinary work” as president and PM, only a week after he said that Putin has one foot in the past.
