For the first time in years, Israelis will hold a large scale rally against United States policies towards Israel, Arutz 7 reports.
The protest will be held in downtown Jerusalem, on Agron St. on Monday evening, and is being organized by the Residents Committees of Binyamin and Samaria, as well as the nationalist umbrella organization Mateh Maamatz, the Yesha Council of Jewish Communities, and Komemiyut.

AT&T announced on Friday that a refurbished iPhone 3G — specifically, the black 8GB model — can now be picked up for just $49 (£30), while supplies last, PC World reports.

A popular nightclub in Tel Aviv called “Rogatka” (slingshot) is refusing entry to Israeli Defence Forces’ soldiers in uniforms, because the uniforms are apparently associated with “oppression and genocide”, according to an Israeli blog called The Muqata.

Injured Formula One driver Felipe Massa can now communicate actively and is able to move his hands and legs, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Brazilian Massa, who fractured his skull in an accident during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday, is waking up from sedation more and more frequently.

Ferrari driver Felipe Massa has shown signs of improvement following surgery on a fractured skull in Hungary, the BBC reports.
“Felipe had a quiet night,” a Ferrari spokesman said. “He is okay, and he is due to have another CT scan today.”

French President Nicolas Sarkozy was discharged from the military hospital where he spent the night and his office says his collapse while jogging was due to heat and overwork, the AP reports.

Foreign Secretary David Miliband proposed today that the Allies should change strategy in Afghanistan to include talks with elements of the Taliban, the Times reports.
