Brussels-based think tank, The European Foundation for Democracy, says that a German charity for Lebanese orphans are a front organisation raising funds for Hizbollah suicide bombers, Jerusalem Post reports.
Alexander Ritzmann, a senior fellow at The European Foundation for Democracy, and author of a study on “Hizbollah’s Fund-raising Organization in Germany”, issued earlier this month, said the Orphans Project Lebanon (Waisenkinderprojekt Libanon e.V.), situated in Göttingen, Lower Saxony, are “the German branch of a Hizbollah sub-organization” …

The first trial of protesters has begun in Tehran, with more than 100 people including senior opposition figures accused of rioting, vandalism and “acting against national security”, the Daily Telegraph reports.

The future of Formula One has been secured after the FIA and 12 teams put pen to paper a new Concorde Agreement on Friday night, the Daily Mail reports.

Malaysian police on Saturday fired tear gas and water cannon at thousands of people who rallied here demanding an end to a security law that allows detention without trial, Japanese news agency Kyodo reports.

Mid-ranking civil cervant Mike Mackay, Chief Information Officer of the Youth Justice Board, was paid more than £350,000 of public money last year, the Daily Mail reports.

International Monetary Fund (IMF) warns that Britain will have the biggest debt of any major economy next year, the Daily Mail reports.
The Government budget deficit will soar to £191billion, the Washington-based organisation has warned.
The figure – which equates to £7,600 for every family in Britain – is far higher than the Treasury’s official forecast of £175billion.
