A piranha has been found in a river in Devon, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Environment Agency fisheries workers found the dead piranha in the East Okement tributary of the River Torridge in Devon while conducting a survey of fish species using electric fishing equipment.
The piranha, the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world, is more commonly found in the Amazon River basin.

The number of Israelis who see US President Barack Obama’s policies as pro-Israel has fallen to four percent, Jerusalem Post reports.
Fifty-one percent of Jewish Israelis consider Obama’s administration more pro-Palestinian than pro-Israel, according to the survey by Smith Research, while 35% consider it neutral and 10% declined to express an opinion. The poll of 500 people representing a statistical model of the Jewish Israeli population had a margin of error of 4.5%.

At least eight minor earthquakes have been recorded in central and southern Oklahoma in a single day, the AP reports.
The latest was a 2.3 magnitude quake recorded at 11:15pm Thursday, about 15 miles northeast of Oklahoma City. Before that, a 3.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 9:09pm in the Oklahoma City suburb of Jones. The National Earthquake Information Center recorded all eight earthquakes.
