Defence official: Israel knows exactly where Shalit is held

A senior Israeli defence official said that Israel knows exactly where kidnapped IDF St. Sgt. Gilad Shalit is being held captive and has the location under constant surveillance, Arutz 7 reports.

The O2 phone network went down this morning, affecting thousands of the company’s customers in London, the Daily Telegraph reports.
O2 subscribers in south and south west London were unable to make 3G voice calls between 9.15am and 10.15am due to the outage.

Vettel wins Japan’s GP, Button finishes 8th

Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel brought his world championship hopes alive again with a victory in Japan today, Italian Toyota driver Jarno Trulli was second and British McLaren pilot Lewis Hamilton third.
Vettel has now 69 points and is only two points behind Brazilian Brawn GP driver Rubens Barrichello, who’s second in championship fight. Briton Jenson Button, Barrichello’s team mate and current championship leader, finished eighth today and now has 85 points. Button could win the championship …

Harman crashed into parking car while talking on mobile?

Labour’s deputy leader and “Equalities” Minister Harriet Harman is being investigated by police after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident in which she drove into a parked car while talking on her mobile phone, the Daily Mail reports.
Harman is said to have stopped briefly after the crash, but witnesses say she drove off without leaving her insurance or registration details – an offence carrying a possible six-month jail term.
