HTC’s new smartphone HD2 has a 4.3 inch touchscreen, which is the largest in any smartphones and now it’s dubbed as yet another “iPhone killer”.
HTC HD2 goes on sale in the UK at the end of this month, the Daily Mail reports. Its touchscreen resolution is 480×800, which dwarfs the iPhone.

British scientists have developed a drug that shrinks lung cancer tumours, in trials the drug destroyed tumours in 50% of mice, the Mirror reports.
In other animals, it stopped tumours from growing and becoming resistant to chemotherapy treatment.
Researchers at Imperial College London are now hoping to test the drug on humans.

Microsoft are cutting off up to one million Xbox 360 users who modified their consoles to play pirated games over Xbox Live, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Any Xbox owners shown to have “violated terms of use” by installing hardware to play illegal games will be disconnected from the Live service – which allows multiple players to compete with each other over the internet.

A former UKIP MEP has been sentenced to two years in jail for fiddling his expenses, politics.co.uk reports.

A teenage sex attacker kidnapped and raped a five-year-old boy eight days after a judge spared him custody for another rape, the Daily Telegraph reports.
