British soldiers to march under Stalin’s portraits

Sometimes I really think that this world needs to be stopped immediately, so that I and the rest of the people blessed with brains and the ability to use them, could just step off. The fact that British soldiers are going to march in Moscow at the 9th May parade, under portraits of the mass murderer of millions and in the capital of the country that was Adolf Hitler’s staunch ally, is really something beyond …

Evo Morales claims landslide victory in Bolivian elections

Bolivian President Evo Morales claimed a landslide re-election victory last night in elections seen as a referendum on his socialist reforms, The Times reports.
Official results were not due until Monday but exit polls gave him 62 per cent of the vote to Manfred Reyes Villa’s 23 percent, which would give him a huge majority allowing him to extend state control over the economy in the impoverished but resource-rich country.
Morales, the country’s first indigenous president, held …

One of the first communist terrorists and the architect of the evil empire of the Soviet Union, Vladimir Lenin (Ulyanov really) died from syphilis, caught from a Parisian prostitute, and not from a stroke, as it has been believed, a new research says.
Helen Rappaport, an acclaimed historian and author, said that books, papers and journals charting Lenin’s last years show that he contracted the sexually transmitted disease and that it ultimately claimed his life, the …

I have read tons of books about the history of the 20th century. It’s the century of world wars, the century of brutal and murderous regimes, the century of the Cold War, the century of freedom fight, and the century of victories. It’s the century that interests me the most in the entire history.
It’s very unfortunate to tens of millions of people that the 20th century was the century of brutal and murderous regimes. Stalin’s …

US President Barack Obama has really got his hands onto it – by trying to make modern America so communist that I feel really sorry for people over the pond – they have to endure this utter nonsense for 3.5 more years.
Obama’s administration now ask their supporters to send an e-mail to “flag@whitehouse.gov” if they spot “misinformation” on health care reform. Basically, they ask everyone to rat out their neighbours, relatives, friends etc, if they …

Interestingly, Russian cinema has always had good films to offer. That was true in Soviet times and that is, apparently, true also today.
And it also seems that as in Soviet times, also today the artists in Russia are above politics and, fortunately, don’t have to obey the political guidelines that much. Yes, there is probably still censorship in Russian arts, although obviously not at same levels as there was about 20 years ago, but the …
