British soldiers to march under Stalin’s portraits

Sometimes I really think that this world needs to be stopped immediately, so that I and the rest of the people blessed with brains and the ability to use them, could just step off. The fact that British soldiers are going to march in Moscow at the 9th May parade, under portraits of the mass murderer of millions and in the capital of the country that was Adolf Hitler’s staunch ally, is really something beyond …

Who says that Gordon Brown isn’t funny was proven wrong as the Prime Minister made quite a joke yesterday when he said that he’ll use the “hard won economic recovery” as a platform for Labour election victory.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Brown said that the looming election will be unlike the last three because the recession has “changed things”. The priorities in those elections had been about “investment in schools and hospitals” based on economic …

In recent weeks I asked the readers of The Empire Chronicles whether they believe in human-induced global warming, and I must say, the result wasn’t surprising at all: a mighty 97% of the respondents said a firm “no”.
Altogether, 1,452 people responded to the poll and 1,404 of them voted “no”.
Only three per cent – 48 people – voted “yes”.
It’s great to see that common sense is prevailing. But considering most of the respondents were from …
