Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak suggested that Israel would be allowed to build 8,000 new homes in Judea and Samaria, and in exchange Israel would release 500 Fatah terrorists from prison and recognise pre-1967 borders.

Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu today announced a ten-month freeze on building Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria, after the security cabinet approved the plan, and said the move was a “far-reaching and painful step”, the Jerusalem Post reports.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton claims that Israeli Government offered to end all settlement activity in Judea and Samaria, Arutz 7 reports.

European Union funded an illegal construction in Judea, next to Givat Ha’harsina, a suburb of the Jewish city of Kiryat Arba; Israeli Government had the construction demolished today.
